Seed and Soil is a song about the great battle between farmers and the government. The government claims to be building housing to help thousands of homeless and newly arrived immigrants...but at the expense of forest and farm land.
The farmers say they are being pushed out of their lands..some of which have been passed down for generations.
While both issues are important...without food...housing will matter very little.

I don't often write Bandcamp recommendation. But here I have to make an exception. "Ghosts" is simply a terrific album that should appeal to prog, indie, pop and rock fans alike.
