PROJEKT GEMINEYE are releasing their 4th studio album…..

Its hard to believe that on March 6th 2017, the groups first album was released. Well, lets be clear PROJEKT GEMINEYE is the musical creation of Mark Anthony K. A music writing, producing, engineering, mixing and mastering artist from Brampton, Ontario, Canada.
Thats right, the last 3 albums (An Ordinary Day, A Brand New Day and Man Of Science..Man of Dreams) and 2 Eps (The Long Ride Ep and The Lost Science Files Ep) were completely constructed, written and performed by Mark Anthony K.

All these albums have done well and have progressively grown the name of PROJEKT GEMINEYE in the world of progressive music, especially in America, Europe and the UK. While it would be easy to take sometime off, Mark is one who likes to move ahead while the iron is hot…so to speak. So this October, REFICUL RECORDS, are pleased to announce the release of the new album “In The Year 3073 - Book I”. Yes, Book I..there will be another album to follow this one to continue this story.

What is the story? Well to keep it brief and not give too much away…The planet earth in the near future (2073) nears disaster due to mankind's many failures. Because of this a large group of military and scientific people build a starship and leave Earth for a new home. 1000 years later, a group of decedents from the original space voyage decide to travel back to Earth to see how the planet looked after the disaster that was projected. What they discover completely shocks them. If you want to know more…you will have to wait for the album.

The first part of the story has 6 songs that range from epic to aggressive to progressive to melodic. So there is something for everyone on this album….and sometimes all those things are on one song.

I don't often write Bandcamp recommendation. But here I have to make an exception. "Ghosts" is simply a terrific album that should appeal to prog, indie, pop and rock fans alike. Wonderful catchy melodies with lots of good ideas and great instrumentation. I love everything about this record, from the first to the last note. Andreas Blohm
