about

Debut album by the Brampton, Ontario act PROJEKT GEMINEYE. Progressive Metal/Rock with lots of heavy guitars...melodic keyboards and vocals.

THE PROG MILL LISTENERS ALBUM OF THE YEAR 2017 list had PROJEKT GEMINEYE - "AN ORDINARY DAY" place #8. Which was amazing considering the albums it beat out by artists like : Big Big Train, Sons of Apollo , Roger Waters and Mike Oldefield.

Here are a few comments from various webzines:

"Projekt Gemineye‘s Ordinary Day combines heavy guitar elements with Pink Floyd-style keyboards, all in support of unmistakable melodic hooks."
-Preston Frazier - Somethingelsereviews.com

"The music is a mixture of symphonic/melodic progressive rock with the occasional nod to progressive metal. Anthony is clearly a superb musician with a good voice and keen sense of melody."
-Jon Neudorf - Sea of Tranquility - The Web Destination for Progressive Music

“An Ordinary Day kicks off with the symphonic, almost cinematic title track, shifting through moods and time signatures. The track list blends the slower tracks with faster paced songs like the blistering “Fate Unknown”. The album closer, “Ride On” is one of my personal favourites, with the influence, I suspect of Mark’s Canadian countrymen, Rush being very strong – it’s an instrumental track, which takes a number of twists and turns before reaching its final flourish."
-Geoff Bailie - The Prog Report - progreport.com
